apparel items have been recalled for harmful chemicals over the years.  Real concerns about toxic levels have been voiced about lead, PVC and other
dangerous substances.
6. Corporate  
Manufacturing quality overseas has declined. Moves towards NoCOE, costs to do business in particular freight costs have skyrocketed.

How much of an impact  this T-Shirt movement will bring is still to be determined. Concerned citizens can still make a difference by buying US products.
